Diplomacy and modesty have always been an integral part of being a Bollywood celebrity. Although, some of these high profile celebrities tend to push it a tad too far. Aishwarya Rai has been one of the few common names in Hollywood and has even played pivotal roles in quite a few lesser known ones.

Hollywood may be knocking at her doors but for the actress, working abroad is just another job, in a different language. Or so feels husband Abhishek Bachchan.

"For her, I am sure it's just as big a deal to do a Bengali film as a film with, say Will Smith," Bachchan told reporters in an interview with Rai by his side.

"It's not about Hollywood or India. Yes, we have immense respect for their industry, but we have an equal amount of respect for our cinema or the regional cinema that exists in India," he said.

Her fake Hollywood accent or the row of flop English movies does justify her craving for work abroad, if not anything else. Never is she going to accept that fact and will probably continue to make a fool of herself in many Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman shows!
